Total Plant Solutions’ commitment to health and safety has been recognised with a prestigious award from multinational manufacturing firm Cemex.
Having worked at the firm’s Rugby Cement Plant for more than five years, Total Plant Solutions had the best health and safety performance of a contractor company during the 2015 kiln shutdown.
Plant Director for Cemex, Philip Baynes-Clarke, said: “We thank Total Plant Solutions for their commitment towards health and safety, which has helped to make our workplace as safe as possible.
“Winning this award is by no means a small feat and everybody at the company should be very proud. With good safety performances and commitment as shown by everybody at Total Plant Solutions, we hope they can help us to achieve our overall goal of zero injuries.
“We wish them every success in future endeavours, especially in maintaining the current high standards of health and safety.”
Keith Jaggard, Total Plant Solutions Managing Director, said: “We are incredibly proud of this achievement. During our time working with Cemex we have evolved our processes, which I believe has been integral to our high performance and safety levels that we now consistently achieve.
“Although we are an outsourced service provider to Cemex, we have always demonstrated our commitment to provide the very highest standards in everything we do, and this is reflective of every job Total Plant Solutions works on.
“Our big goal for 2016 is to achieve ISO accreditation for Risk Management and Quality, which would reinforce our reputation as one of the most reliable and safest plant hire firms in the Midlands.”
